Chefs, cooks and food preparation workers make up more than 3 million workers in U.S. workforce, making culinary arts one of the more lucrative industries in the nation. Orange Coast College's culinary arts program provides an in-depth course of study, preparing students for a wide range of employment possibilities including work in restaurants, hotels, schools, resorts, and more. The heart of the culinary arts program is hands-on laboratory instruction in the College's instructional kitchens, and Captain's Table Restaurant.
